Lincoln Trail Venture Group.
Three of our partners are founding members and serve on the board of directors of the Lincoln Trail Venture Group. The group was formed in 2003 for and set up as a corporation to promote entrepreneurial efforts within the Lincoln Trail region. Its primary purpose is to provide micro-angel funding to companies that show promise of high growth and who are willing to establish a principal presence in the region.
LTVG members agree to provide up to $10,000 per unit owned for investments in promising companies. These resources are combined to invest in companies that meet the criteria established by the group and selected by the investment review committee.
Companies seeking investment present their ideas and proposals to the group at public meetings held each month. Upon recommendation by any of the members, the investment review committee assigns a member to conduct due diligence on the company. If the company meets the requirements identified by the investment review committee, the group makes an investment of up to $50,000. All members share in any profits acquired by LTVG as the investment dictates.
